Tschabalala Self is a Harlem-born artist whose cross-disciplinary work explores ideas about the body, traversing different artistic and craft traditions. Inspired by her painting Ol’ Bay, this full-length puffer alters timeless checkerboard patterning with linear red stitching that unifies the two shades. Bringing together opposites to coexist in an increasingly polarized world, the piece pairs with our matching boot and bag for an entirely immersive outfit.
